Welcome to the Karmand Community Centre Pre-School

Karmand Pre-School liaises with Early Years and works in partnership with Barkerend Children's Centre offering education and care for children from 2 years old to school age.

We encourage the development and education of pre-school children in a parent-inclusive, community-based group, providing a safe, secure and stimulating environment and working with a framework which offers equal opportunities for all the children and their families.

All children are offered a specially tailored curriculum leading to the Early Learning Years Foundation stage. With a high adult to child ratio (1:4 for children under 3 and 1:8 for 3-5 year olds) we are able to provide individual care and attention whilst encouraging fun and friendship with other children and adults.

PRE–SCHOOL HOURS

Morning sessions: 8.45am to 11.45pm – Monday to Friday
Afternoon session: 12.15pm to 3.15pm – Monday to Friday
